All your wedding makeup questions answered here...
Below you will find some frequently asked questions I receive from many of my clients. I have tried to answer all of your questions and concerns, however, if you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please get in touch.
Yes. A trial is recommended for 3 main reasons:
It gives you peace of mind on the wedding day.
You have control on the exact look you want & testing hair to see how it works and lasts.
It saves precious time on your wedding morning.
My advise is to book in early. Professional makeup artists can get booked up a year in advance. Makeup trials are best 2-4 months before your wedding date and held on MONDAYS, TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS.
For the Trial
Complete the Enquiry Form with as much information as possible.
We find a date for your trial and an invoice is emailed to you. A deposit of £20 is required to secure the date & the full payment is due 1 week before your trial date.
I come to you to test out preferred looks, documenting all products for the final look. Then you'll have 3 days to decide if you'd like me as your MUA for your wedding.
Wedding Day
I'll email the contract and invoice to you. A £50 deposit is required to secure the wedding day. Full payment is to be made 1 month before your wedding day.
I'll work out a time schedule for all bridal party members for your approval with any adjustments.
On the day, I'll text you I'm on my way for your re-assurance and do your makeup as per the trial. Helping with any last minute things. Leaving you with the lipstick chosen at the trial.
The wedding date is only secured with a £50 deposit, which is confirmed after the trial session.
Availability is offered on a first come, first served basis.

If you have a separate hair stylist, I can liaise with them before the day to ensure a smooth working plan.

The makeup station is to be held in one area, preferably near a window for natural light. That way I don't need to waste precious time packing kit away and going to another room/area if others are requiring makeup.
I do not want to change anything about you, but if you do wish to have any skin conditions covered, i.e. rosacea, tattoos, vitiligo, scars, or pigmentation it is essential to request this at the trial session as it includes a totally separate kit.
I can provide this for you at your trial session for an additional cost.
