I saw Terri Pace at the International Make-up Artist Trade Show (IMATS) do a drag makeup.  Absolutely brill!  I understand you run workshops also.  ... - I also work for MAC (your competitors?). - MAC MAKE-UP ARTIST AT IMATS

I'm very keen to see Terri in action again so thanks for mailing your workshop info out.  The make-up demo she did on Sahara , her model, was in fact a drag version of the colours I had on that day - one of them being "Electric Eel" by MAC which I simply coudn't live without! The staff don't do the lessons, they hire in a make-up artist to give you 1-2-1 tuition. My instructor was called Terri Pace she was very competent, and had a good understanding of TV makeup.

They have a well-appointed room to the right of the shop as you go in. You can see the tops of people's heads walking past, but are not overlooked by the hoi polloi.

I got a lot of useful advice. We dealt with
- beard cover (I was pre-IPL then, but I still use their tips now because I still have not fully got rid of the blue shadow)
- foundation (they used dermacolour light back then, but I'm not sure they still stock it now)
- contouring (I probably did not pay enough attention because I seem to end up looking like Joan Collins c. 1985)
- eyes
- lips

They were happy for me to dress for the session so I was able to go out for a night on the town afterwards - very convenient as its right near the restaurants and bars of theatreland.

I'd rate it as worthwhile.

I've also had lessons from Transformation, Jody Lynne at the Boudoir and Pandora. I'd say Charles Fox was the best. - TRANSEXUAL, CHARLES FOX 1-2-1 LESSON

 I've also been to Terri at Charles Fox. Her session was personalised to a certain style of make up for me as opposed to a lot of others that tend to have a few chosen looks for all their clientele. Also it was great value for money.  Another plus point is it is in the heart of town.. making it easy to go out after n show off your new look....
